Beach volleyball fan? East Beach is arguably "ground zero". Karch Kiraly, Olympic Gold medalist, played volleyball here as a teen. East Beach has always been a volleyball mecca, with no less than 18 sand courts. East Beach was once a regular venue for the Jose Cuervo Beach Volleyball Series in the '80s and '90s. I'm sure there are other things to do at East Beach, like any beach, but volleyball is the one thing that I think of when I come here.
