If you like gardens, this is a must-see. The garden takes advantage of Santa Barbara's unique climate, with a collection of local and exotic plants. Meandering paths, discrete educational displays, and a pond with ducks and turtles will relax you. On my last visit, I met a turtle cruising along the city sidewalk and returned the shelled beast back to the pond. Not far from the beautiful Santa Barbara County Court House - just keeping on strolling for a few more blocks towards the sea and you won't be disappointed.
