Next to the Buena Vista Cafe you will find this Segway tour company that lets you experience SF in a totally touristy fun way. Book Ahead and then come down to Ghiradelli Square area and learn to ride the Segway, have a fun time cruising the area and getting your photo taken by the other, not quite as cool, tourists. We had a amazingly warm day for SF on our tour, but even on cooler days, they will give you warm jackets to wear on a two+ hour tour of North Beach and Fisherman's Wharf. They have advanced tours as well that take you down Lombard Street and other SF hills. We found it on Groupon and got a great deal. Even our teens enjoyed hanging out with us that day!
