I'm partial to the Musee Rodin for a number of reasons. First, the sculptures of Rodin are so imposing and powerful, and I like the three-dimensional quality of sculpture as an art form. Second, I had the privilege of being able to see the Musee Rodin and the "Thinker" from my apartment balcony just across the plaza - so the Rodin Museum has extra special meaning for me. As a museum, the Rodin is also very pleasant since the artwork is displayed both indoors and outdoors, so you don't feel so cooped up as you might in a traditional museum. The Rodin is not far from my favorite museum in Paris, the d'Orsay, and also not far from my favorite bridge, Pont Alexandre III.
