Definitely make reservations well in advance. Every menu item is sourced from ingredients purchased directly from small farms and prepared with a flair for southern faire. The meat and fish dishes are prepared perfectly with unusual and exceptionally tasty sauces. Their cranberry and cucumber (non-alcoholic) beverage is wonderfully refreshing. We started with two appetizers: fried green tomatoes and the Devil-ish eggs filled with crab, lobster and salmon - even our tomato averse teen devoured the appetizers. There's plenty of surf and turf on the menu. When ordering side dishes, consider their mac-and-cheese (not on the menu), which is exceptional. When selecting a fish dish, you can choose from four types of preparations (the Meunire is excellent). Got a ravenous teen boy? The Butcher's Farmhouse Grill is perfect with its burgers, chili dog, and ribs. We shared two desserts - the cobbler and apple pie - both far larger than anticipated - and an excellent finish to a meal. Also a good selection of microbrews and wines from around the country. Double thumbs up.
