This is one my three favorite museums in Paris (along with the d'Orsay and Rodin). The Pompidou (also known as the Beaubourg among Parisians), is the modern museum of art in Paris. The building itself is very cool - a kind of mix between a children's playground and an industrial factory. This is the place to experience some of the best 20th century modern art in one place. Be sure to check out the fountain out front with its playful sculptures.
