We found this school from an ad in Bay Area Parent. My 3rd grade son was overloaded with busywork for homework, but didn't seem to know the basics - his printing was illegible, and his school (Palo Alto public school) was moving on to cursive! He could hardly add or subtract, he couldn't multiply at all, and his school was moving on to long division! Carden was a breath of fresh air for the whole family. They worked with him on his basics and gave far less homework. He got his childhood and his self-esteem back!
My son became a fantastic student and went on to private high school. I shudder to think what would have happened if we hadn't stumbled upon Carden.
