Our son has attended this simple, rustic camp for two summers. The camp is located near Mount Shasta in very Northern California. Kids do backpacking, evening campfires, songs and skits, woodworking, crafts of all kinds. It is not a high-tech camp, rather it is a back to basics sort of camp that I strongly believed would be an important antidote for the materialistic, fast-paced lifestyle our kids are now subjected to. The camp does offer financial aid to families in need. It is a diverse and very nice bunch of kids.
