I saw this hotel on a groupon ad as we were heading to the LA area with a few days to kill. So we made the detour to Ojai and I was a little skeptical when we pulled up to this old 50's looking hotel just east of downtown. The lobby made me feel a little better, retro chic. Then we got to our room which had been recently remodeled, It has a great Zen feel to it, comfortable bed, great furniture, a private patio with lounge chairs. It is also PET friendly (as is most of Ojai). We liked it so much that we are staying another night. Not the high end spa hotel but a great value, books in the room, movies in the lobby and great recommendations from the desk for restaurant and spa.
