We use multiple Nakamichi CR-7 series decks for our preservation and archiving services at The Audio Archive (www.theaudioarchive.com). Willy Hermann maintains and repairs all of our Nakamichis. I particularly appreciate his thoroughness and attention to detail, and his focus on a single brand and the deep knowledge that comes with that focus. Especially helpful to me are his wow-and-flutter measurements - he can tell me if one of our machines are starting to go out of spec and why. This allows us to make pre-emptive repairs, rather than call Willy with an urgent repair in the middle of an archiving project. He also dispenses excellent cassette deck wisdom when you need to make difficult decisions regarding a purchase or repair. For all things Nakamichi cassette, I strongly recommend Willy Hermann.
