Feeling a little nostalgic, I visited this amazing museum in 1975 and marveled over the Duesenbergs, Bugattis, Ferraris, Hispano Suizas and other exotic race and high performance cars of yesteryear. In addition to cars, there were plenty of raw engines on display. It was not a giant collection, but certainly a beautiful and carefully curated one. Sad to see the museum close, but still wanted to post a short tribute. In a way, the Briggs Cunningham collection made me think of it as a small-scale version of The National Automobile Museum in Mulhouse, France - which is a must-see for any automotive history fan.
